Adult Fellowship 11/15 5pm

Adult Fellowship for November will be Saturday, November 15 at the Bowling Alley in Wadsworth across from Buehler's at 5:00 and on to Marie's for pizza at 7:00. It would be good if everyone arrived as close to 4:45 as possible to get our shoes/teams set up and start bowling by 5. Great Oaks Lanes, 210 Great Oaks Tr. in Wadsworth.

URGENT ANNOUNCEMENT

Dear Vesper Lake Bible Fellowship Family,Due to an emergency water problem we have to cancel our normal Wednesday night service this week. We currently have no running water in our church and are working as fast as possible to resolve this issue. We ask that you are patient as we try to get this fixed. We may also have to cancel or move our Sunday morning Service so please be watchful for an announcement. Please pass the word on to other attenders. Norton Church Blood Drive 11/5 2-7pm

Norton Church is hosting a Red Cross Blood Drive on Wednesday, Nov. 5th from 2pm-7pm. A hot meal and home-made baked goods will be provided for all donors. Please contact Carol Kapusinski or Mike Maletich with any questions. Thank you.

Men's Night Out 10/23

The Csaky's are hosting Men's Night Out at their home this Thursday, Oct. 23rd, at 7:00 p.m. Burgers and drinks will be provided, so please bring a side dish or dessert to share.

Also, we are still in need of a host for Men's Night Out in November. If you would like to host this event in your home, please contact Deb Capper.

On Friday, October 24th, Broken Chains Ministry of Akron will be hosting a benefit dinner. It will be a time to learn of all they are doing as a ministry to help those incarcerated and their families in our community.

Christmas Adult Fellowship

Merry Christmas! And to all a Good Night!!!

It's nearing that time of the year - can you believe it? If you have been in the stores you see signs of the holidays already. Well, we are looking forward to not just a "good night" but a "great night" for our December Adult Fellowship on December 13th. We wanted to let you know of the date early, so you could mark in on your calendars. We will start at 7:00 and the party will end when the last person leaves :-) More details will come regarding specifics.

Just a side note. We would like to encourage those of you who may be new to Vesper Lake to join us for what is always a great time of fellowship and food and laughter. If you are an "old timer"(hopefully no offense is taken :-), invite someone who may be newer to join us. It's such a great time to actually get to know each other make others feel part of our church family. We are looking forward to the 13th; we hope to see you here!

Member's Meeting Sunday 10/19

Our Member's Meeting this Sunday, Oct. 19th, will be a brief meeting concerning two votes- the proposed budget and reaffirmation of Mike Maletich as elder. There will be a short time for discussion if necessary, but if you have any questions right now then please direct them to a member of the Leadership Team and he will be able to answer your questions ahead of time. Also, please note that only these two items will be on the table for discussion at the meeting, so if you have any other questions, concerns or suggestions, please contact a member of the Leadership Team at any time and he will be more than happy and willing to discuss them with you.Thank you!

Ladies' Night Out 10/16 and Men's Night Out 10/23

Ladies' Night Out - Macaroni Grill, Thursday, Oct. 16th, 7:00 p.m.

Men's Night Out - Csaky's house, Thursday, Oct. 23rd, 7:00 p.m.

Please bring a snack, appetizer or dessert. Burgers and drinks will be provided. The men have really enjoyed meeting at someone's home rather than a restaurant, so we'd like to ask for volunteers to host MNO at your house. MNO is normally scheduled on the first Thursday of the month, but you are welcome to host it on whatever night works for you.

If you are interested, please respond to this email so you can get scheduled for a month you prefer. Also, please note that the guys will bring whatever items you designate so you can be thinking about what you'd like them to bring and what you'd like to supply.

Vesper Bake Sale

Shelly Flanigan, wife of Tim Flanigan and daughter-in-law of Chuck and Pauline, has been led to host a weekly bake sale at Vesper Lake! Her willingness to follow God's conviction in her life and bless our community in a very tangible way is wonderful!! If your interested in supporting her ministry and the church through this great opportunity, there are a couple ways to help.

1. First, you can come prepared to donate and buy some baked goods starting this Sunday. She will have wrapped cookies for kids and baked goods for everyone. Each item will have a suggested donation- donations can be placed directly into the offering boxes in the back of the sanctuary.
2. Second, if you are interested in offering a baked good or a few baked goods to the table, she would greatly appreciate it. This will be a weekly opportunity to bless our community, so contact her directly if you're interested in bringing something this Sunday or in any of the coming weeks.
